    DBT offers 4 modules:

Mindfulness: Living in the present moment without comparison to the past or future.

Emotion Regulation: Learning how to reduce negative emotion while increasing positives.

Distress Tolerance: Find meaning in painful experiences and emotions while staying safe.

Interpersonal Effectiveness: Managing relationships while getting your needs met.

    Will Resume July 2019

    Relapse Prevention Group

This daily group is led by a therapist and is comprised of a small group of patients who are in various stages of recovery from drug and alcohol addiction. Each person participates out of choice, and even though relapses can occur, we learn from them and keep moving forward. One day at a time and taking the words such as honesty, openness and willingness to heart can bring about remarkable changes in one’s life that are possible to keep for a lifetime. Issues addressed include relapse prevention, depression, anxiety, and self-esteem using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques.

Beginning June 1, it will be held on Wednesday’s only 11AM-Noon

    Suboxone (Buprenorphine) Therapy

Patients taking Suboxone are asked to attend group therapy either once weekly, twice monthly or once monthly based on their level of recovery. The groups have a therapist leading them; however, it is the patients’ participation that really makes this an interesting group. Not everyone is going to have a great day all of the time; however, it is always of benefit to you and possibly someone else when people share in group. Issues addressed include relapse prevention, education about Suboxone, mood and anxiety using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques.
